This course, run by the British Red Cross covers everything you need to know on helping a sick, injured or ill child, prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

Course content:

• Checking for signs of breathing
• Assessment of injuries
• Recovery position
• Infant and child resuscitation (CPR)
• Choking
• Bleeds and shock management
• Seizures
• Anaphylaxis
• Childhood illnesses
