Under the original 2008 Masterplan, we have refurbished 777 homes and built 768 new ones. These have enabled hundreds of existing Clapham Park Tenants and Leaseholders to enjoy living in a new or newly refurbished home. We have also built the Clapham Park Cube, which opened in 2019 and provides a great range of activities and services for residents.

In 2016, the original Masterplan was re-examined, and through regular community exhibitions and consultation events, we worked with residents to generate ideas for a new Masterplan that would meet the needs and aspirations of Clapham Park into the future. The resulting new Masterplan includes over 2,500 new homes, a community hub, shops, road improvements, plus extensive landscaping, including a new central park and play facilities. The detailed planning application was submitted to Lambeth Council in 2017. Permission was confirmed in 2018, and finalised in late 2019 via the Section 106 Agreement. It is now Summer 2020 and construction will shortly start at Mullins Place South on the first 50 homes (plus two new shops) under the New Masterplan. These homes will all be for social rent, and will be ready for secure tenants moving from the older blocks in late 2022. We expect to start building several more blocks throughout 2021. Once complete, the development will be over 50% affordable homes.
